House fails to override childrens health insurance veto (Fond du Lac Reporter)

WASHINGTON Six of Wisconsins eight House members voted Thursday to override President Bushs veto of a bill to expand a federal-state childrens health insurance program. But the House fell 13 votes short of the two-thirds majority needed to overturn the veto. The final vote was 273-156. Rep.
